Sold Jersey Cows

Hala

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Hala is a beautiful, orange 2 year old Jersey. She calved on her own in November.  She is milking well and has a nice symmetrical udder. She is exposed to Nate and likely early bred. Not confirmed yet, but probably soon. Her teats are medium long and nicely spaced for easy hand milking.

SOLD

Yello

Registered, A2/A2

$4,200

Yello is a 2 year old registered Jersey that calved easily on her own. She is quite gentle and has medium teat length.  She has a calm personality and is a good producer. She milks from all 4, but is a little lighter in one quarter. Probably from her calf nursing unevenly after she calved. She is bred to Nate and due in October.

SOLD

Colli

Polled and Registered, A2/A2

$4,800

Colli is a beautiful 2 year old pulled Jersey. She calved late October and is milking well. She has a nice udder with medium long teats. She is exposed to Nate and likely early bred. Not confirmed yet, but likely soon.

SOLD

Vanilla

Registered, A2/A2

$2,500

Vanilla is a very friendly 2 year old Jersey. She usually lets strangers come up to her and pet on her. She can be almost puppy like, so if you have young children, you may have to keep a closer eye out so she doesn’t get too playful. She was a great mom and even adopted other calves early on in her lactation.  She did get a bad cut on her front left teat, which ended in her loosing that quarter. It has dried off nicely and healed. But probably won’t milk from that quarter again. She is confirmed bred to Nate for an October calf. She behaves well for machine milking. Her teat size is pretty short, so I have not done much hand milking with her. She has a short body frame and would be a good size for a small homestead.

SOLD

Flip Flop

Registered, A2/A2

$3,500

Flip flop is a sweetheart.  She loves attention and behaves well in the barn. She is a good milker. She does have shorter teat size, so probably not the best for hand milking, unless you have experience milking goats. They are large enough to keep the milker on just fine and my kids can hook up the milker to her without a problem.  She has been started on a haulter, but still needs some work with leading. She was bred to Nate and due August 20, 2024. She is currently dry.

SOLD

Dorothy

Grade, A1/A2

$1,500

Dorothy is a gentle 5 year old family milk cow. She has nice long thick teats and has behaved well for us for milking by hand or machine.  She will come up to me and smell my hand while free in the field, but doesn’t stick around to be pet on. She does get a bit nervous when she is separated from the herd, so she would be best on a farm with other cows. I don’t think she would adjust well to a life of a single milk cow. She has been exposed to Nate for 2 months and likely early bred, but possibly still open. She isn’t a big producer, but would produce enough for a family.

SOLD

Janelle

Registered, A2/A2

$3,000

Janelle is a sweet, layed back 2 year old Jersey. She calved on her own and bred back to Nate for an October calf. She only milks from 3 quarters. One just never came into milk when she first calved. It has never been a problem, just a dry quarter. She still milks as good or better than some of my first time fresh girls.

SOLD

Mariah

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Mariah is a sweet Jersey girl with a nice rounded udder. She just turned 2, had her first calf on her own and is milking great. She bred back quickly to Nate for an October calf. This girl is very food motivated and behaves well for hand or machine milking.

SOLD

Isabel

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Isabel is a lovely 2 year old that had her first calf unassisted this last fall. She has a beautiful udder with medium teat length. She behaves well and milks great for a first time fresh girl. She bred back quickly to Nate and is due to calve this October. She is food motivated and enjoys snuggles.

SOLD

Ferocious

Registered, A2/A2

$3,000

Ferocious is a 2.5 year old registered Gurnsey.  She has a sweet, layed back temperament.  She is confirmed pregnant for a late April to ealy May 2024 calf. She was bred to our Jersey bull,  Nate. She is still learning to stand for hand milking,  but she does well with machine milking most days. She has medium teat length and milks from all 4 she just milks heavier on the right side than her left.

SOLD

Beatrice

Grade, A2/A2

$3,000

Beatrice is a sweet 2 year old girl. She has medium teat size and has learned to stand well for milking by hand or machine most days. She calved this fall and has been exposed to Nate and Dandy. Both A2A2 registered  Jersey bulls.  She behaves well for a milk cow, but is not a pet. She usually walks away rather than get attention. But she knows her job and comes in for milking just fine.

SOLD

Andry

Grade, A1/A2

$2,000

Andry is a sweet, short 2 year old Jersey. She is a good producer for her age and calved last Fall. She has been exposed to Nate for a couple months and is now exposed to a new younger A2A2 registered bull named Dandy.  Possibly early bred, but if not, will likely be bred soon. She has a layed back temperament and has learned to stand well for milking her by hand or machine.

SOLD

Monica

Registered, A2/A2

$3,200

Monica is a 2 year old registered Jersey for sale. She calved on her own and is milking well. She has medium long teats. She is bred to Nate for an October calf. She does well with machine milking and you can hand milk her, but she isn’t fond of it just yet. She milks from all 4, but she is a bit light in one quarter.

SOLD

Priscilla

Grade, A2/A2

$2,500

Priscilla is a 5 year old, sweet girl. She has medium teat length and behaves well for hand or machine milking. She is friendly and quite often accepting of attention. She got bred February 1st to our bull, Dandy. Dandy is a young registered, A2A2, polled Jersey bull.

SOLD

Naomi

A1/A2, Grade

$2,200

Naomi is a sweet 4 year old Jersey. She milks evenly from all 4 quarters and it is pretty comfortable to milk her by hand or machine.  She calved in June, and has been exposed to Nate.  She is currently milking really well. She has a layed back personality, but not usually looking for attention.  She would rather hang out with the cows than have people pet on her, but she is usually comfortable with people being up close to her.

SOLD

Agatha

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Agatha is a sweet 2 year old Jersey milk cow. She calved late October, and bred back quickly to Nate for an October calf. She did need some assistance because it was a breach birth, but she didn’t have any complications.  She has medium long teats and behaves well for hand or machine milking. She has a great udder and nice spacing on her teats.

SOLD

Riley

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Riley is 3 year old due with her second calf in May. She is bred to Nate. Riley has a calm personality and knows her job. She is a good producer and stands well for milking. She has medium long front teats, but kind of short back teats. She has been started on haulter training. She does well standing tied, but she is a slow mover, so you may have to have some patience to get her to follow lead. We will continue to work with her, but for now she is quite slow on lead.

SOLD

Rita

Grade, A1/A2

$1,800

Rita is a sweet, six year old family milk cow. She calved fall of 2023 and is a great producer. She has large teats and behaves well for milking by hand or machine.  She is exposed to Nate and possibly early bred.

SOLD

Glaze

Registered, A2/A2

$3,500

Glaze is a lovely 3 year old Jersey. She is sweet and laid back. She is lead broke, and has nice long teats for hand milking. She usually stands pretty still for hand milking or machine milking. She would likely be a good fit for a beginner. She did damage one teat end about a year ago. It did heal nicely, and does not give her any issues.  Milk just comes out a bit faster from that teat end and the end is flat instead of rounded. She enjoys attention most days and just has a calm, sweet personality.  She is bred to Nate for a late August calf.

SOLD

Keeps

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Keeps is a lovely two and a half year old Jersey milk cow. She was AI bred to Dupat Fearnot-ET with sexed semen and confirmed pregnant for a July 25 calf. She milks well for a younger cow and behaves well for milking. She does have shorter teats, so I would recommend machine milking her unless you have experience milking goats by hand and want to give it a go. She has been started on a haulter and is learning quickly to follow lead.

SOLD

Emoji

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Emoji is a beautiful friendly 5 year old. She is naturally polled and has nice large teats that are well spaced and stands well for hand or machine milking. She is exposed to Nate and possibly early bred. She is broke to lead and doing really well following.

SOLD

Nancy

A1/A2, Grade

$2,200

Nurse cow/Family cow

Nancy is a 5 year old Jersey family milk cow. Just fresh this September.  She is milking like a champ. She has an amazing udder and good teat length.  She knows her job and behaves well, but she is not your pet type of cow. I call her Nervous Nancy. She likes calm and normal, and would rather not be touched in the field. She does fine being milked, but she can get spooked if she is touched too quickly, or if she hears a sudden noise. As for a good producer who knows her job, she is an excellent cow, but you will need to be patient with her and start her in a small area unless you have other cows to put her in with and are familiar with moving cows.

SOLD

Go Girl

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Go Girl is a very gentle 2 year old Jersey. She has an amazing body and udder. She has been shown by her previous owner and won prizes. She is an excellent producer and totally broke to lead. She has thick teats with good spacing and medium length. She behaves well for hand or machine milking. She was bred to Nate and due August 20, 2024.

SOLD

Beth

Registered, A2/A2

$4,800

Beth is a 2 and a half year old registered Jersey. She is such a sweetheart.  She leads easily on haulter and really enjoys attention from our kids. She stands well for milking by hand or machine.  She has nice thick medium length teats and is a good producer.  She recently tested pregnant for an early May calf bred to Nate. Beth has the cutest twist to her nose that makes she look like she is always up to something.

SOLD

Feline

Registered, A2/A2

$2,500

Feline is a 6 year old Jersey. She calved in May and is confirmed pregnant again for an end of July calf. She was bred by Nate on 11/4/23. She has good teat size for milking by hand and usually stands well for hand or machine milking. She is not a really big producer on 1x per day milking, but will give plenty for a family. She does occasionally try to adopt calves, so it would probably be pretty easy to use her as a nurse cow if needed.

SOLD

Nicole

A2/A2, Grade

$3,000

Nicole is a 4 year old Jersey milk cow.  She has a nice body shape and well attached udder. Her teats are medium long, well spaced and comfortable for hand milking.  She is not an in your pocket cow. She milks well, and stands good for machine milking,  but it is hit or miss if she will stand for hand milking. Still working with her on that.  She knows her job. Comes in the barn and gets milked, but she would rather not be pet on. She produces well. She is confirmed bred to Nate and due to calve late July 2024.

SOLD

Petra

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Petra is a beautiful 2 year old Jersey milk cow. She is friendly and doesn’t spook easy.  She has nice teat spacing and medium long teat size. She was AI bred with sexed to Duncan Duke of Glenwood. And confirmed pregnant for an August 1st calf. She is milking well for a first time and she stands well most days for machine or hand milking.

SOLD

Moonshine

Registered, A1/A2

$2,400

Moonshine is a very gentle, sweet, almost 3 year old registered Jersey.  She calved easily in June and has been exposed to Nate, our registered a2a2 Jersey bull.  She has a very small frame, and a cute little crooked nose. She does spook easily and she loves babies. She was a great mom and she regularly has a calf other than her own nurse off her. She does have medium short teat length. She stands well for milking by hand or machine,  but I wouldn’t recommend her as a hand milker unless you are used to milking goats, or cows with smaller teat size.

SOLD

Romeo

Registered, A1/A2

$2,500

Romeo is a registered 3 year old Jersey milk cow. She is a bit on the smaller side for my Jerseys.  She has medium teat length and behaves well for machine or hand milking. She also has been caught adopting calves on occasion.  She has a sweet but feisty personality.  She has been started on a haulter and is doing well. She is bred to Nate for a July calf.

SOLD

Bliss

Registered, A2/A2

$4,000

Bliss is a sweet, gentle 3 year old. She is a good milker with medium teat length and good spacing. She does prefer machine milking and is taking a while to get used to hand milking. She is doing well on lead. She was AI bred to Goff S-S-I Tucker tasker-et. And confirmed pregnant with a due date of May 2nd. She was bred with sexed semen so she should be having a heifer.

SOLD

Sprinkle

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Sprinkle is such a cute 3 year old. She is bred to Nate and tested pregnant for an early May calf. She has the nicest udder and teats for milking by hand or machine. They are long all around and well spaced.  She behaves well on lead and in the milking barn. She stands still almost every day wether we are milking by hand or machine.  I love her little white spots and she has the cutest little cow lick above one eyebrow that just gives her the sweetest face.

SOLD

Nelly

A2/A2, Grade

$3,500

Nelly is a great producer. She calved in September and is just an overall good Jersey milk cow. Her udder is not completely uniform, but she milks well from all 4 quarters and has good medium long teat length. She is layed back and easygoing. Because of her production and teat placement it would be easier to milk her with a machine,  but any time I milk her by hand she behaves well.

SOLD

Sheila

Registered, A1/A2

$2,200

Nurse cow/Family cow

Sheila is a 5 year old Jersey. She calved this summer and has been exposed to Nate.  She has a great udder and teat length.  She maintains excellent body condition and just is a good looking cow. She trots into the barn for milking. She does have a bad habit of kicking when you first touch her udder. With a kick bar, she stands great for milking by hand or machine.  If you pet her for a minute you can wipe her clean and hook up the machine to her safety,  but I wouldn’t recommend hand milking her without a kick bar. She has a calm temperament walking around her and moving her, she just picked up a bad habit and it may take some time to break her of it.

SOLD

Holly

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Holly is an almost 3 year old registered Jersey. She calved this June and has been exposed to Nate. She is quite friendly once she gets to know you and has done great with haulter training. She is not a lazy walker, so you will need to hold firm, but it is kind of nice to have a cow that wants to walk quickly opposed to dragging their feet. She has medium size teats and has been standing well for us to milk her either by hand or machine.

SOLD

Breezy

Registered, A2/A2

$2,700

Breezy is a beautiful, registered 3 year old Gurnsey.  She calved unassisted in May and has done a beautiful job raising her calf as well as milking for us. She is quite friendly and doscile. She did only come into milk with 3 quarters. Her back right quarter doesn’t cause any problems, it just doesn’t make milk. She has medium teat length and behaves well for milking if she is kept calm and you move slow and smooth. She is still getting used to rutien and can be spooked into kicking if you are fast or jerky with your movements with milking her. She has already cycled once on July 20th and was with Nate, our registered a2a2 Jersey bull, but still a bit early to confirm pregnancy.

SOLD

Spring

Registered, A1/A2

$2,500

Spring is a 3 year old Jersey milk cow for sale.  She just calved end of October.  She is comming into milk nicely.  She has nice long teat length and is getting used to being milked again she learned to stand really well last lactation,  so I’m sure she will settle into rutien quickly. I have caught her a few times nursing calves that arnt hers, so she may be one to consider if you are looking for a good family cow that will also adopt calves.

SOLD

Nadine

A2/A2, Grade

$3,000

Nadine is a solid Jersey milk cow with good condition.  She is a 4 year old that has a nice udder and teats for hand milking. Teats are medium long. She does prefer machine milking, but most days she will be good and stand for hand milking if you pet her and talk to her first. She is not a pet, but does a good job making milk. She calved this summer and may be early bred to Nate, but not yet confirmed.  She will likely need to go to a home that has at least one other cow. I don’t think she would adjust well to being a single cow.

SOLD

Jolene

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Jolene is a 2.5 year old registered Gurnsey.  She calved in May and is an excellent mom. She is super friendly and lets me pet on her just about any time I want to. She has a nice uniform udder and medium teat length.  She stands well for milking by machine or by hand most days, and I believe she would make a great beginner cow. She has been exposed to our registered a2a2 Jersey bull, Nate,  but still early to confirm pregnancy.

SOLD

Angelina

Registered, A1/A2

$1,800

Angelina is a sweet little 3 year old registered Jersey.  She has a small frame and such a sweet gentle personality.  She calved easily in June and has been exposed to Nate, our registered a2a2 Jersey bull.  She has medium teat length and stands good for milking by hand or machine most days. She only milks from 3 quarters. Her back right quarter just didn’t come into milk. Doesn’t cause her any problems. She is still almost average production for a first time fresh cow. She also has a little white spot one one eye from having pink eye about a year ago. She still sees from both eyes just has a little scar on one eye.

SOLD

Nora

A2/A2, Grade

$3,500

Nora is a beautiful Jersey.  She is on the taller side for Jerseys. She is a 4 year old, with a nice well attached udder and good teat placement. She has medium size teats and behaves well for hand or machine milking.  She has a doscle temperament and is quite easygoing.  She calved in July and was bred 11/6 to Nate, but not confirmed pregnant yet. She is a good producer and would likely make a good beginner cow.

SOLD

Stella

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Stella is a lovely 2.5 year old registered Jersey. She is a good producer and recently tested pregnant to Nate for a May calf. She is a layed back cow and stands well for milking. She does have shorter teat size, so it would better to plan to milk her with a machine unless you have experience milking goats.

SOLD

Reese

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Reese is a lovely 3 year old registered Jersey. She has a nice symmetrical udder and medium long teats. She stands well for hand or machine milking and is kid broke to lead. She did test pregnant for late April to May calf. She is bred to Nate. She is one of my better production girls and still has good butterfat.

SOLD

Tiqui

Registered, A1/A1

$2,000

Tiqui is a sweetheart. She loves attention from our children and has done great with being started on a haulter.  She does like to move quickly,  so maybe not ready for little kids to lead her, but most adults should be able to handle her on a haulter without any issues.  She has learned to stand well for milking by hand or machine,  but teat size is a bit small for most people.  Unless you are comfortable milking goats, you will probably want a machine to milk this girl. She does have scaring in one eye. She had pink eye about a year ago, and it left a scar in one eye. She can still see a little, but I have noticed her vision is not great from that eye. She calved in July and is exposed to Nate.

SOLD

Gi Gi

Registered, Nurse Cow

$1,400

Gi Gi is a sweetheart, she loves attention.  She lost her first calf at birth, and only milks from 3 quarters. She calved mid October, and we decided to make her a nurse cow. She has been in with some of our older calves and she will occasionally kick them off when they nurse too much, but she is quite accepting of the idea of nursing other calves.

SOLD

Gwen

Registered, A1/A2

$2,800

Gwen is a lovely light colored 3 year old. She has medium short teat size, but stands well for milking by hand or machine.  She is a good producer and recently tested pregnant to Nate for a May calf. She is quite curious and has a gentle demeanor.

SOLD

Sox

Registered, A1/A2

$2,500

Sox is a sweetheart.  She loves my attention and has been started on a haulter.  She is good enough on lead that a bigger child could handle her. She recently tested pregnant to Nate for a May calf. She milks well for a first time fresh girl. She has nice teat length on her front teats. Back teats are kind of short.

SOLD

$1,500 each

SOLD

Jazmine

A1/A2

$2,300

Jazmine is a sweet, two and a half year old Jersey girl. She is not registered but comes from registered parents. She just never got a pedigree.  She is currently in milk and confirmed pregnant for a late March/early April 2024 calf. She was bred to Osceola, our registered Jersey bull. She has a nice uniform udder and medium teat length.  She does great with machine milking. Most days she would rather you don’t milk her by hand. She has a gentle personality and will usually let me touch her.

SOLD

Sandy

A1/A2

$2,000

Sandy is a layed back, 2 year old Jersey. She calved in July without any issues and has been a good mom and even adopts other calves occasionally.  She has nice long teats and stands good most days for milking by hand or machine.

SOLD

Luna

Registered, Nurse Cow

$1,200

Luna is a 3 year old registered Jersey cow. She lost her first calf at birth, and only milks from 2 quarters. She has a nice udder and seems to milk quite a bit. We milked her a few times and then decided to make her a nurse cow. She is nursing some older calves and has become okay with the idea. They do get pasty at times and she will kick them off, but most of the time she ignores them. Luna has a layed back personality,  but doesn’t usually let strangers pet on her.

SOLD

Destiny

Registered, A1/A2

$2,800

Destiny is a registered Jersey. She is almost 3 years old and milking great. She is quite curious and will regularly walk right up to me in the field.  She stands well for milking by hand or machine,  and has nice teat length for milking by hand. She was AI bred to sexed semen to 1JE7314. She has been confirmed bred and due mid January 2024.

SOLD

Waylin

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Waylin is a 2.5 year old registered Gurnsey.  She is very doscile and lets me pet on her quite often when she is loose. She calved in June and has been a great mom and learned quickly to stand for milking by machine or by hand. She has medium long teats and a nice uniform udder. She has been exposed to our registered a2a2 Jersey bull, Nate, but still early to confirm pregnancy.  She is calm enough that I think even a beginner could handle milking her if they has a small pen to keep her in at first.

SOLD

Kit Kat

A1/A2

$1,800

Kit Kat is a sweet 4 year old. She has good teat size, and a nice soft udder. She knows her job and does it well. She has a layed back personality,  but doesn’t really want to be pet on. She is bred to Osceola and confirmed for a November, 2023 calf. She can be milked by hand or machine,  but she does fidget quite a bit when I milk her by hand. She would be much easier if you have a milking machine.
