Our Bulls

Meet Our Herd Sires

We reserve two herd bulls that we keep with our cows. We will keep one with heifers and dry cows and the other we will keep in our fresh cow herd. This keeps both of them happy and separate so that they don’t fight. It also makes it possible for us to rotate bulls to keep from having a bull breed their own heifers. All of our bulls are registered Jerseys. They are all A2A2,  and they are all naturally polled (born without horns). All of them produce beautiful heifers and bull calves. Most of Nate’s calves I have seen have been solid in color, where Osceola produces a lot of calves with white spots.

Nathan

Registered, A2/A2, and Naturally Polled

Nathan is son to Ariel and Nate. Nate was a phenomenal breeding bull that held weight really well on just grass diet. He had great conception rates and produced awesome calves. Ariel, Nathan’s mom, was a great milk cow with good udder attachment and medium-long teat length.  She had a great, calm temperament and produced really well.
