She has been exposed to Osceola, our registered Jersey bull, and I expect her to be early bred or bred soon. She has medium size teats and is quickly learning to stand for hand milking. She usually does really well if you take your time as to not spook her.

You can get a couple squirts out , but I have just been milking her 3 and leaving the other one.

Claire is a lovely 2 year old. She had her first calf late June. She has a beautiful udder with medium long teats. She is quite friendly in the field and has a calm personality. She has been exposed to Osceola, our registered Jersey bull, but she is not confirmed pregnant at this point. She is still slightly touchy when being milked. If you move slowly with her she is usually good. If you touch her too abruptly she will likely jump or kick. Still getting used to being milked as she is very young, but off to a good start and getting better every day.

Feliz is a beautiful Jersey cow with a great udder. She has a sweet curious personality. She is a 4 year old and just calved in November 2022. Feliz has good teat length for hand milking, but she doesn’t like to be hand milked. For some reason she is timid about you handling her teats, so she should go to someone who plans to machine milk. I would recommend she go to someone who has some experience milking cows. Most days she behaves like she should in the barn, but occasionally she will knock her milker off and get scared.

She stands well for hand or machine milking most of the time, but with being first time fresh and so young, she will occasionally get spooked and throw a kick if she gets touched too quickly in the barn. With some petting and some calm talking to, she calms down and let’s you milk her.
