Meet our herd sires, Osceola and Nate
We have two herd bulls that we keep with our cows. We will keep one with heifers and dry cows and the other we will keep in our fresh cow herd. This keeps both of them happy and keep them separate so that they dont fight. It also makes it possible for us to rotate bulls to keep from having a bull breed their own heifers. Both of our bulls are registered Jerseys. They are both A2A2, and they are both naturally polled (born without horns). Both of them produce beautiful heifers and bull calves. Most of Nate’s calves I have seen have been solid in color, where Osceola produces a lot of calves with white spots.
