Zabbi

Registered, A1/A2

$3,500

Zabbi is 2.5 years old. She calved on her own end of January and has a nice udder shape and teat length.  She did get minor frost bite on the tip of her front left teat in February which has healed up, but she is a bit touchy during milking. I’m sure she will calm down and get better with time, but since the memory of milking hurting is still fresh in her mind you need to be slow and gentle when milking her to keep from spooking her and keeping her jumpy. She is getting more trusting all the time and my kids can now hook up a milker to her. Milking by hand would take some time and patience,  but she is getting there. She is exposed to Osceola and possibly early bred.

Cimi

Registered, A2/A2

$4,000

Cimi is a sweet 2 year old Jersey. She is naturally polled and has a cute, smaller frame. She has some small white spots, so likely to produce some calves with spots. She had her first calf on her own in February and is a great mom. She loves the calves and sometimes takes on nurse cow duty. She produces well from 3/4. Her back left is completely dead and never produced. She is well behaved for milking by hand or machine.  Her front teats are medium long. And her one working back quarter is about medium length. She has been exposed ot Osceola,  and could be early bred, but it is a bit early for preg check on her. If you would like a calm, sweet cow that is quite versitile this may be a good fit for your farm.

Halo

Registered, A1/A2

$3,500

Halo is a sweet 2 year old Jersey that calved on her own this January. She has nice, medium-long teat length and is getting comfortable with hand milking. She is already quite comfortable with machine milking. She is very curious and regularly follows me around the field. She has been exposed to Osceola and possibly early bred.

Treva

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Treva is a funny 2 year old Jersey with a slight twist to her nose. I love her expressions. She calved early Jan and has been exposed to Osceola.  She has medium teat length and produces well for a first freshener.  She is getting comfortable with hand milking and is quite comfortable with machine milking. She has a laid back temperament and will follow me around outside some days.

Almix

Registered, A2/A2

$4,900

Almix is a sweet and curious 2 year old registered Jersey. She had her first calf early January unassisted.  She is a smaller girl with a nice, even udder with nice spacing between her medium length teats. She has been exposed to Osceola and possibly early bred. She is quite well behaved for milking time and seems just as happy to be milked by hand as machine most of the time.

Yellow Popcorn

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Yellow Popcorn is just 2 years old. She is sweet and naturally polled. She calved early January and has been exposed to Osceola.  Possibly early bred. She has a tiny frame, and I love the coloring on her face. She has medium-short teat length, and does well with machine milking. She is getting comfortable with hand milking as well. Spring time shedding has her looking a little funny right now, but should be slick and beautiful in a month or two.

Roni

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Roni is almost 4 years old. She just calved this March and is really coming into milk. She has nice long teats and is settling into being milked again. She has been really good for hand or machine milking. She is a little touchy being so newly fresh, but getting better all the time. She is a gentle Jersey and a good mother.

Verizon

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Verizon is a 2 year old Jersey that had her first calf middle of Feb. She has nice teat length and spacing and is quite calm about being milked by hand or machine. She is quite friendly and has a nice small frame.

Bipy

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Bipy is a lovley, almost 3 year old Jersey. She is confirmed bred to Dandy, and due July to early August. She is naturally polled. She is past her peek production, but still milking well. She has a nice plump round udder with shorter teat length better for machine milking. She calved on her own first time and was a great mom. We let her calf share for a few weeks before separating them. She has a shorter frame and should have a pretty small calf as well being bred to Dandy.

Peppi

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Peppi is such a social butterfly, loves to meet new people and follow them around.  She has a cute little curve to her nose that makes her looks like she is always smiling. She is 2.5 years old and bred back quickly for an October calf. She is bred to Osceola.  She has a very nice plump udder with medium teat length and good spacing. She is a bit picky about how she is milked, but this is pretty typical for 2 year olds. She does better with machine milking at this time.

Comi

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Comi is a sweet and curious 2 year old Jersey. She calved on her own in January and has been exposed to Osceola, so possibly early bred. She has a nice symmetrical udder and medium teat length. She is getting used to the milking routine and rarley dances or kicks. She does prefer being milked from behind. I absolutely love her coloring with the white highlights around her eyes and nose.

Choni

Registered, A2/A2

$4,500

Choni has a very playfull personality. She is a lot of fun and is not agressive at all, but she will dance around and rub on me for attention. She can be like a big puppy dog which can be a lot of fun, but you have to be careful and make sure she knows to back off if she gets too rough. She is 2.5 years old. She calved on her own her first time, and has behaved really well for me wether milking her by hand or machine.  She has nice, medium teat length with good spacing and is fairly comfortable to milk by hand. She is a shorter more compact girl that holds condition well. She is not a high production cow, but a nice easy keeper, and will likely go up in production on her second lactation. She was bred to Osceola on 3/1/2025. Will plan to send in preg test early April if she is still on my farm then.

Prim

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000

Prim is a 3 year old Jersey. She just had her 2nd calf this March. She is friendly and a great producer with a great udder and nice teat length. She comes in the barn and is easy to get her to go where you need her, but she can be a pain for milking. She gets the kick bar on at milking time. Last lactation she did get to a point where she did not need it, but she is probably extra tight being new in milk and a good producer.  She would be a good fit for someone with a small raw milk dairy with some exprience and don’t mind using a kick bar.

Leo

Registered, A2/A2

$4,600

Leo is a lovely 2 year old Jersey. She had her first calf in January and got right into the milking routine.  She has medium short teat length and does well with machine milking. She is starting to get used to hand milking, but has had very little practice thus far. She is confirmed bred to Osceola and due in November.  She is great with routine and I think if she is kept with another cow she would do well on most any farm. She is a little shy, so probably not a good choice for a single cow or first time cow owner. She has well set teat placement and mostly uniform udder, but seems to milk a bit light in her back left quarter.

Molly

Registered, A1/A2

$3,500

Molly is a 2 year old fresh heifer. She is doing great on 1x per day milking and calved on her own in November. She is confirmed bred to Osceola and is due November 2025. She is very friendly and will regularly come up to strangers for attention, she is a little picky about how she is touched during milking though. She is doing pretty well with milking, but still a 2 year old and should be worked with calmly to keep her calm.

Glenda

Registered, A2/A2

$4,000

Glenda is a quite friendly girl. She just turned 3 years old this fall. She calved on her own in October and bred to Dandy for a late September to early October calf. She is a good milker, but would recommend her to someone planning to milk with a machine.  She has shorter teats, and her front right is pretty light. I usually hook the milker to it for just a little bit and hold the hose line then take it off that quarter and plug the extra inflation so that it will hold in place on its own.

Baili

Registered, A2/A2

$3,800

Baili is one of our taller Jerseys. She is a 3 year old that had her first calf in December. She is confirmed bred to Osceola and is due in November. She has a gentle personality and is easy to work with. She is friendly and not shy at all. Baili calved in with her front right quarter not functioning at all. The other 3 work well and she is still an average producer with only 3. It looks like it may have been injured when she was young and just never developed like it should have. We have occasionally used Baili for a nurse cow and she has been doing great with it. She has also become much more accepting of hand milking and is enjoying being pet and loved on. She has shorter teat length and is easier machine milked.

Nurse Cows!

Call or text me about our available nurse cows!

$3,000 - $4,000

We have found that Jersey calves can be hard to raise, but having a nurse cow to care for calves really helps with the health of the calf as well as takes less time and effort caring for bottle babies. We will train cows on our farm to take on a few calves to help out with the chores. These girls are young registered Jerseys that have gentle and easy temperaments. Some may only milk from 3 quarters, and some may milk from all 4, but not have as nice an udder as some of our family milk cows. We don’t always have nurse cows available,  but quite often will have one we are willing to part with. Some will be a1a2 and some a2a2. Cows we use for nurse cows are usually girls that are fairly recently fresh, and may or may not be bred back. You could use them specifically to raise 2-3 calves for you, or you could use them to raise a single calf and have some milk for your family as well.

Bull For Sale

Dandy

Registered, A2/A2

$1,800

Dandy is a 2 year old, registered natural polled bull. He is a smaller standard bull. Pretty relaxed guy, but gets the job done. He keeps condition well on just hay or pasture. Going to be keeping some of his calves and won’t be needing him for this next breeding season.

Blue Ribbon

Registered, A2/A2, Currently Dry & Confirmed Bred

$4,200
Pending Delivery - Willy
South Dekota

Blue ribbon just turned 5. She is a gentle, easy milker with medium teat length and good spacing. She was a great producer, but the cold hit her pretty hard this winter and she dropped production, so I decided to give her a longer dry time. She is confirmed bred to Dandy for an August calf. She did have mastitis in one of her back quarters,  but it was treated and milked normal before sending her dry. She loves babies and has tried to adopt some that weren’t hers a few times on our farm, so should make for a good nurse cow, family cow or duel purpose cow. Because of her temperament, I think she would make a good beginner cow. You will have some time waiting for her calf, but this will give time for you to bond with her before you need to milk for the first time.

Regal

Registered, A2/A2

$5,000
Pending Pick Up - Sarah

Regal is a 3.5 year old Jersey. She was bred to Osceola and is due October 24th. She has medium long teats that are placed well. However,  she doesn’t like hand milking. She does fine for machine milking, but if you wanted to milk her by hand you would probably want a kick bar. She is a good producer and would be a great fit for a small dairy operation, but may not be the best for a homestead or first time cow owner. She knows her job and comes in for milking but she is not a pet type personality.

Hali

Registered, A2/A2

$4,800
Pending Pick Up - Mindy

Hali is a well built 2 year old Jersey. She has a nice udder and good, medium teat length.  She had her first calf in December and has been exposed to Osceola since. She has learned her job quickly and stands well for machine milking, and usually behaves well for hand milking as well. Although she has had just a short time in milk, so I would recommend being careful to keep her calm in order to encourage her to keep up the good behavior. She milks well from all 4, but her back two quarters aren’t quite even.
